The BinaryLane service is paid in arrears - that is, we will invoice you AFTER you have used the service.
To protect ourselves from fraudulent users who may sign up with no intention of paying, all new customers start with a pending-charges limit of $50.00 (shown in mPanel under Billing as "Next Invoice: <date> or $50.00 in pending charges"). When the amount owing reaches that limit, we invoice you early. Each time you pay by card or PayPal, the limit steps up to the next level above the amount you paid ($100, $250, then $500), so invoices consolidate as your payment history builds. A payment of $500 or more takes the limit straight to $500. Once the limit is above your monthly spend, you will receive one invoice per month on your billing day.
For example, for a server costing about $200 a month:
- Your new account starts with a limit of $50, so after about a week an invoice for $50 is issued.
- You pay it, and your limit moves to $100. About two weeks later an invoice for about $100 is issued.
- You pay it, and your limit moves to $250. The rest of the month is invoiced on your billing day.
- Your limit is now above the server's monthly cost, so you will receive one invoice per month.
If you need a higher limit than $500, or would like your invoices consolidated sooner, reply to us from your account's email address and we can review the limit for you.
